Joshua Yoder became the rector of Christ Church in August 2014. He moved to Washington with his family from Wake Forest, NC where he completed his Master of Divinity degree in May 2013. He was ordained as a Priest in the Anglican Church in May 2016.
Joshua loves the community of Washington. He serves on the Bright Futures Board for Beaufort County and is an active member of the Washington Noon Rotary Club. He is passionate about teaching and preaching the Word of God and helping others to rightly understand it and make it real in their lives.
Joshua is married to Jessica and they have three children: Anna, Ethan, and Gavin. Joshua enjoys running, reading good books with his family, and occasionally golfing.
