Anglican Relief and Development Fund
ARDF exists to empower Anglicans in the developing world to show the love of Christ to those in need in their own communities. At Christ Church, we support the relief and discipleship efforts of ARDF. Please visit their website to learn more.
Pray for and support the Persecuted Church
Every single day, thousands of Christians are harassed, beaten, imprisoned and even killed because of their faith in Jesus Christ. We need to stand with them in this struggle as their brothers and sisters in Christ. “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body” (Heb. 13:3). For more information about how you can get involved – through prayer, writing letters to Christians in prison, or sending Bibles to restricted countries – or to sign up for a free monthly newsletter, go to www.persecution.com.
Syrian Refugee Crisis
Since 2011, Syria has seen an increasing level of violence from a civil war that has displaced over 7 million Syrians from their homeland and an additional 4 million from neighboring countries.
how you can get involved
Pray for the people of Syria:
Compassionate God, draw near to our brothers and sisters in Syria in this time of sorrow and anguish, comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those in despair, and lead us all to fullness of life; through the same Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
